we had an amazin time at the chequers. rooms were clean and comfy, with a mini bar and coffee machine! staff were super friendly, felt really welcome. dinner n breakfast were both delicious and they nicely handled our dietary needs. pub was cozy with a nice vibe.

I had a fantastic time enjoying the comfortable room and tasty food during my short stay. I was thrilled to find that I was just a few steps from beautiful parks and the historic Abingdon County Hall Museum, perfect for my city strolls.

We had a pleasant stay in a comfy Deluxe Double Room and enjoyed the well-cooked breakfast, though the limited drink selection felt a bit off. Unwind by the lovely garden or chill at the cozy lounge area whenever you get a chance. One thing to note, the bedding could've been cleaner, but it didn't ruin our overall vibe. 😊

The room was spacious with a super comfy bed and tons of pillows. I loved how clean and well-decorated it was. It had cool extras like a Nespresso machine. The bathroom was nice too, all modern vibes! Just wish the windows could open for some fresh air.

A delightful stay included a warm welcome and cozy room, complete with proper sugar cubes instead of sachets. The dinner showcased top-quality meat, and even our dog was treated to a sausage and chilled water. On the downside, the decor in some common areas seemed a bit dated, and the shower lacked adequate pressure at times.

I absolutely adored the character-filled thatched building. it offered a unique rustic charm that made me feel at home. The modern amenities mixed with historical flair were delightful, especially that cozy underfloor heating and the well-stocked fridge in my room! Plus, experiencing the incredible meats expertly cooked at dinner made every bite pure bliss.

The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, just a short drive from the beach. The room was bright and spacious with a cozy decor, and the shower was fantastic! Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared with generous portions.
